Description
The Protekt Gel Overlay features a series of gel bladders encased between high-density, resilient contoured foam and a firm support base. This design offers an economical Group I pressure redistribution support surface.
Features:
- Ideal overlay surface for preventing and treating pressure ulcers
- Convoluted high-density polyurethane foam top layer
- 15 horizontal gel bladders to prevent migration and bottoming out
- Gel bladders filled with aqueous gel for deep immersion
- High-density, resilient foam base foundation to prevent bottoming out
- Nylon top cover that is fluid-resistant, vapor permeable, and antimicrobial/antibacterial
- Bottom vinyl cover with four elastic corner straps to secure the overlay to the mattress
- Gel maintains room temperature consistently
